Chateau du Tertre Margaux 2000 event-sold-out Gideon Beinstock farms a singularTwenty five years on and du Tertre 2000 is squarely in its prime. This Margaux 5th Growth sits on a unique gravel mound the highest point in the appellation and the Cabernet dominant blend has finally shed its youthful structure to reveal the cedar, tobacco, and dried flower complexity that great mature Bordeaux is all about. 2000 was a benchmark vintage and du Tertre delivered handsomely. A mature Margaux drinking in its sweet spot right now.
