Aster cordifolius | Silver Spray Chronicle Books It is a winter dormantAlso known as Michaelmas daisies, these plants are such a welcome addition to the late summer autumn garden. This cultivar is not often seen and has sprays of small pale mauve daisy like flowers that fade to almost white and is also excellent for cutting. Silver spray will tolerate light shade although preferring a sunny spot with good drainage. Cutting back stems early in the growing season will help to keep the plant nice and bushy. Cut back flower
