Phoenix canariensis is an ideal palm to keep in a pot on your patio. Tolerates heat well and is an easy plant that will do well on any patio or balcony. Kept in pot an additional gift of water in extreme heat is welcome, growth will benefit from this. In winter only little water, slightly moist not wet (applies to every palm tree in the winter).
