Patch "Chirping" creating a look that’s bothThis patch was inspired by the Chernihiv carpet Flight (1993) by Nataliya Chernova. Today, the original carpet is part of Robert Walkers collection in the USA. We discovered it with help from Chernihiv designer Olha Razanova, who kindly lent us a local library book on the region's folk arts. Now part of the Chernihiv region, the village of Dihtyari was once in the Poltava Governorate and was a major carpet weaving center with its own school and
